Verdict

Anytime Mailbox has one of the biggest networks (2,500+ locations), and some addresses start below $9.99. The catch is that each location is run by an independent operator, so plans and fees vary by address. Read the plan for the exact address before you pay.

What changes by location

Because operators set their own terms, one address might offer Personal ($9.99), Business ($14.99), Gold ($29.99) and Unlimited ($69.99) plans with different scan rules, pickup fees and package storage windows. Compare the yearly total for the address you'd actually use, not the national headline price.

Setup: Form 1583

Like every virtual mailbox, Anytime Mailbox requires USPS Form 1583. You can notarize it online during signup (typically about $25). USPS rules also let the mailbox operator witness your signature in person or over live video, so ask your location first. See PS-1583 step by step and notarize PS-1583 online.

Pros

A huge choice of real street addresses, including cheap ones
No pre-checked upsells at checkout
30-day money-back guarantee

Cons

Only 5 scanned pages a month on the base offer
Fees and service speed vary by operator
The mobile app has mixed reviews

Alternatives

If you scan a lot, Traveling Mailbox includes 35 scans on its $15 Basic plan. For a business with a registered agent need, see VirtualPostMail. Full table: virtual mailbox comparison.
